Harvest

My mushrooms are growing well.  I have eaten off of them twice and have a third crop starting.  One corner of the box seems to work better than the rest.  I keep it under a table in the basement.  I'm a mushroom grower!

Restart

I ordered a white mushroom kit to try again.  Maybe if I have somebody else get it ready I won't make any mistakes.  I want home grown mushrooms!

It was a learning experience

I am fairly certain I killed my mushrooms.  No more filaments and no edible mushrooms.  I didn't chop the substrate up into small bits, I may not have sterilized well enough, and I might have let them get too dry.  I think I will try again but with a kit.  I do know that they started to grow so at least I did something right.
